Oh Hai blog world! Just stopping in to do a quick workout post. I would love to chat longer, but brain has been zapped by the infinite amounts of sun from the long weekend. As well as my skin. Sunscreen can only do so much. Back soon for a recap on all that.
Workout wise, June was a lot like May. Lots of running and not much else. I am hoping July will be better in terms of strength training. If not…oh well. How’s that for apathy?
June total running miles: 117
A bit lower then I would have liked, but my big plans for hitting 125 the last week of June were squashed when work and life got in the way. I will be happy with 100 miles each month this year. I think that’s a fine goal. So far July hasn’t started out too hot, but I am taking advantage of vacation for my mind and my body. I haven’t had more then one day in a row off since…well, I can’t remember! Whether I physically need it or not, I think it will help mentally.
