Work It Out

Oh Hai there. It's been a while. I've been running. That's about it.

My first 10k is on Saturday. I haven't gotten in quite as much speedwork as I had hoped, but I am excited to try this distance.  My total May mileage was 124. Time for new shoes!

Here's what I did the last two weeks:

5 mile run, 3 at race pace
push ups and planks

Tuesday, June 7 (death heat day 2, record high of 102)
sloowwww 4 miles and a 3 mile walk with a friend - crazy I know

6 x 800m repeats, all around 3:30
5 miles total

Friday, June 10
easy 3

Saturday, June 11
10 miles, about 1:25

Sunday, June 12body weight strength stuff: planks, push  ups, glute bridges, and Bulgarian split squats
