My first post! I titled it baby steps because that is how I feel right now stumbling my way around the ways of Blogger. I expect to make lots of improvements to the blog in terms of layout and content as time progresses. And as my time allows. Bear with me friends.
So what is this thing all about? Well, I have been feeling compelled lately to “pay it forward.” By this I mean give back to the community that has given me so much in the past year and a half. I have been overwhelmed with inspiration and knowledge from many websites, authors, and regular old blogs with topics relating to healthy living more specifically, food and fitness. I want to encourage other women (and dudes!) who live in the real world to be the best that they can be – the best version of themselves.
My intentions for this blog are many. I want to share knowledge that I have gained from others and even a few things I have learned on my own along the way. Most of this will be about weight loss and how diet and exercise play a part of it. I want to attempt the best I can to provide no B.S. info about how to lose weight and how simple it can be. I will also share recipes of food I actually make (healthy and not so healthy), tips and tricks I have picked up, and information about exercise.
In addition to that stuff, I can assure you there will be randomness, as by nature I am a very random person.
As a general disclaimer, I want to point out right off the bat that I am not a professional in any capacity. I have no formal training in fitness or nutrition.
